They give their views on what has made Spike a comic talent in Britain for so long, and pay tribute to his ability as a clown, actor, writer and broadcaster. The book is illustrated with photographs, cartoons and doodles. At the 1994 British Comedy Awards, Spike Milligan was given a "Lifetime Achievement" award.
