Summary

Horatio, the rabbit, cannot sleep. All night long he tosses and turns, wriggles and rolls, but he just cannot get comfortable. So he goes to see his friend, a large bear called James. James takes a sheet of paper from his Useful Box and starts, very carefully, to draw a bed. It is a big square bed with a leg at each corner, but it's not right for little Horatio. So James draws another bed, and another one, and another. Horatio, meanwhile, explores the Useful Box, looking for somewhere to lay his sleepy head finally coming to rest in James's sock! Camilla Ashforth is author of the three subsequent books in this series: "Monkey Tricks" (shortlisted for the 1993 British Book Awards Children's Book of the Year), "Calamity" and "Humphrey Thud".
