In 1959 A&BC Cards produced a unique set of collectable cards to celebrate the careers of 50 of the leading cricketers of the day. These cards are now very rare and hugely sought after. This book commemorates the 40th anniversary of the cards' first appearance, reproducing each of the 50 originals in detail. They are accompanied by present-day interviews with the cricketers concerned, in which they look back over the glory days of their career and comment on the future of the game.
